Brian Cox to Play a Dwarf in 'The Hobbit'? :: Samay Live

Brian Cox to Play a Dwarf in 'The Hobbit'? :: Samay Live:

"London: Rumours are rife that Brian Cox may play a dwarf in 'The Hobbit'.

Imdb.com reports that there are 13 dwarves in 'The Hobbit', travelling with Bilbo and Gandalf, and the most important of them would be Thorin Oakenshield or Balin. It is not known which dwarf Cox would be playing, but it's hard to imagine an actor of his calibre as one of the lesser cast."

Guillermo del Toro Says He'll Appear in The Hobbit as a Creature « FirstShowing.net

Guillermo del Toro Says He'll Appear in The Hobbit as a Creature « FirstShowing.net:

"Although we just ran a big update from Guillermo del Toro on all things The Hobbit last week, we have yet another interesting, and pretty damn cool, update to feature today. Over on The One Ring forums (via SlashFilm), someone translated an interview with del Toro where he said: 'In The Hobbit I will play a small monster. I will transform myself in a small creature, not an important monster, just a 'background' type.'"

Wow, just like Del Toro, can't wait to see it!

Gandalf Has Read The Hobbit Script And Loves It!

Gandalf Has Read The Hobbit Script And Loves It!:

"According to McKellen, the scripts were also written to the directorial strengths of Guillermo del Toro, which hopefully will mean we’ll see a brilliantly acted, action packed film with some amazing cinematography and make-up effects. Jackson and del Toro are undoubtedly two of the greatest filmmakers of the modern era, and if anything Sir McKellen said is right, their collaboration will be nothing short of legendary."

Just as I like it!!!

Del Toro is amazing!!!

Movies - News - Rhys-Davies 'won't return for 'Hobbit' - Digital Spy

Movies - News - Rhys-Davies 'won't return for 'Hobbit' - Digital Spy:

"John Rhys-Davies has ruled out appearing in The Hobbit films.

Rhys-Davies, who portrayed dwarf Gimli in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, told Empire, that he has no desire to come back and play Gimli's father Gloin, who appears in author JRR Tolkien's novel on which the new films are based.

'I've already been asked and to be honest with you, I wouldn't,' the British actor said. 'I have already completely ruled it out. There's a sentimental part of me that would love to be involved again. Really I am not sure my face can take that sort of punishment any more.'"

Top 5 Directors We’d Love to Direct More Star Wars Films | Fused Film

Top 5 Directors We’d Love to Direct More Star Wars Films | Fused Film:

"1. Neill Blomkamp - You look at this guy and his humble beginnings as a special effects animator for Smallville, Stargate SG-1 and Dark Angel and then his triumphant partnership with Peter Jackson for his feature film debut with District 9, based off his great short film. The guy is a sci-fi guru and his skills in animation combined with his creative writing just screams for a cool Star Wars movie, whether it be original or based off something in the expanded universe. Blomkamp is arguably the best choice for directing 1 or 2 movies in the Star Wars universe."

Brilliant first choice, check out their other 4 coices by following the link!

I'd love to see some more star wars!
